HOLISTIC THERAPY
REIKI
Origins & Tradition
Reiki originated in Japan as a method for working with universal energy to support healing and inner harmony. The philosophy is simple: when the mind and body are relaxed, the inner systems that support wellbeing can function more freely.
My Journey
Reiki became part of my practice because of its gentleness. It invites the body back into itself – not through pressure or movement, but through presence. I have been trained according to the tradition of lineage in Reiki and can be traced back to the founders of Reiki in Japan. I’ve experienced firsthand how beneficial stillness can be for people who carry emotional load, neurodivergent intensity, or chronic stress.
The Experience
You remain fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or just above the body. You may feel warmth, tingling, or deep quietness. Some people feel emotional release, others feel spaciousness, and some simply fall into a peaceful rest. Some people perceive colours, some see shapes, and some just go to sleep. Reiki is different for everyone – but always grounding and supportive.
